APPLYING FOR AID – UNDERSTANDING THE FAFSA

To apply for financial aid at CR’U Institute you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). You will need to use our FAFSA Code 024948 when completing the form. This form will be processed by a contractor of the U.S. Department of Education at no cost. The results will be provided in an Electronic Student Aid Report. The information you report on the FAFSA form when you apply for aid is used in a formula established by U.S. Congress that calculates your Expected Family Contribution.
